When I was in 3rd grade, I wrote a story called Just Do Your Best. My teacher was so excited that she inspired me to keep writing. And I've been writing ever since! I've tackled just about everything—short stories, poems, newsletter and magazine articles, press releases, executive speeches, internal announcements, blogs, web site material and more. In 2013, I added book writing to my list and published From Pain to Parenthood: A Journey Through Miscarriage to Adoption. Since then, I have written three other books and have earned several awards. I guess it's safe to say that writing is my gift and my passion. I look forward to sharing it with you!
When I'm not busy writing, you can find me outdoors. I enjoy spending time with my family and especially love hanging out in parks, near lakes or anywhere that can soothe my soul and give me a sense of peace and serenity. Taking a long walk on a beautiful day is one of my favorite things to do. I also enjoy dancing (although my school-age daughter tells me I dance like I'm back in the 1980s!)
